D2DPros (“D2DPros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a professional network and marketplace connecting door-to-door and field sales professionals with companies seeking sales talent. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use D2DPros, including our website, accounts, profiles, job listings, applications, matching features, messaging tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to D2DPros, including your name, email address, telephone number, location, account credentials, professional experience, employment history, sales experience, industries, skills, sales environments, role preferences, availability, compensation preferences, performance information, achievements, and other profile information.
For employer accounts, we may collect information about you and your company, including company name, website, industry, size, location, hiring needs, sales environments, territories, compensation structures, job opportunities, and team members.
We also collect information generated through your use of the Platform, including applications, saved jobs or candidates, messages, profile visibility settings, interactions with job listings and candidates, and other activity associated with your account.
Some performance information displayed on D2DPros may be self-reported by users and is identified as such where applicable.
We may also automatically receive technical information associated with use of the Platform, such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages visited, timestamps, and similar usage or diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to operate and improve D2DPros; create and maintain accounts and profiles; display relevant professional profiles and job opportunities; facilitate applications, recruiting, and communications; match sales professionals with opportunities based on relevant factors; personalize recommendations and discovery results; maintain saved jobs and candidates; provide customer support; protect the Platform from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats; analyze and improve Platform performance; communicate about accounts, services, updates, or changes; and comply with legal obligations.
D2DPros may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand marketplace trends, improve matching and recruiting tools, develop analytics, and improve the Platform. We will not treat aggregated or de-identified information as personally identifiable information unless it can reasonably be linked back to an individual.
3. Profile Visibility and Employer Access
Sales professionals may have controls governing whether their profiles are discoverable by employers.
When a profile is discoverable, eligible employers using D2DPros may be able to view professional information included in that profile.
Certain information may also become available to an employer when a sales professional applies to that employer's opportunity or otherwise interacts with the employer through the Platform.
Users are responsible for the information they choose to include in their profiles and communications.
4. How We Share Information
D2DPros may share information as necessary to provide the Platform.
Professional profile information may be made available to eligible employers based on profile visibility settings, applications, and Platform interactions. Employer and job information may be displayed to sales professionals. Information may also be shared between users when they communicate through D2DPros.
We may use third-party service providers to support hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, communications, security, analytics, and other Platform operations. These providers may process information on our behalf in connection with those services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, governmental requests, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or misuse, protect users or others, or protect the rights, property, and security of D2DPros.
If D2DPros is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
D2DPros does not sell users' personal information to advertisers.
5. Matching and Recommendations
D2DPros may use information provided by sales professionals and employers to calculate compatibility, recommend opportunities or candidates, rank relevant results, and otherwise help users identify potential matches.
Matching information is intended to assist users in making connections. A match score or recommendation is not a guarantee of employment, hiring, performance, compensation, suitability, or success.
Employers remain responsible for their own recruiting, evaluation, interviewing, hiring, and employment decisions.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their account credentials and notify us if they believe their account has been compromised.
7. Data Retention
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, maintain accounts and transaction history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the Platform and its users.
Information may remain in backups or records for a reasonable period after deletion where necessary for legitimate business, security, or legal purposes.
8. Your Choices
Depending on the features available to your account and applicable law, you may be able to update your profile information, modify profile visibility, change account information, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.
Requests regarding personal information may be submitted to privacy@d2dpros.net. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
D2DPros and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, or similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, Platform functionality, preferences, performance, and analytics.
10. Children
D2DPros is intended for professional recruiting and employment-related use and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit accounts from children under 18.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. D2DPros is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties, and users should review their applicable privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as D2DPros evolves. When we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
